When you arrive to the exam room and to Exam computer which is told you at the booking confirmation email computer might be at sleep mode, because of energy saving. Please move the mouse or press some button on the keyboard.
Keyboard layout
Exam computer are equipped keyboards with Finnish keyboard layout. Make sure that you remember your password and you can write your password with Finnish keyboard.
Programs on the Exam computer
Exam computers are equipped with following programs
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Paint
- Microsoft Calculator
- VLC player
- Foxit PDF reader
Some of Exam computers has also MathCAD. All Exam visitor computers has equipped with Wacom drawing display, but no MathCAD.
Wacom drawing display
Some of Exam computers are equipped with Wacom drawing display. Because student can’t select the computer with is equipped with drawing display, teacher have to add drawing display to the exam settings if it is needed to answer questions of exam.
Headset
All Exam computers are equipped with headset for languages exams listening comprehension questions. MP3 and other media files can be opened and listen with VLC Player. Please set headset back to its place behind the screen over the computer after use.
